Akari Art Collection
Being part of the Akari art show in Mexico City was a rare kind of creative alignment—an atmosphere charged with vision, depth, and precision. Sharing space with studios like Six N. Five and Boldtron was both humbling and energizing. The theme was a meditation on Japan—its forms, philosophies, and the space between.
My piece leaned into minimalism, not just as an aesthetic, but as a language. I focused on restraint, letting negative space carry weight, and allowing silence to speak louder than noise. It was about capturing reverence through reduction—an emotional geometry shaped by stillness.
Akari wasn’t just a show; it was a conversation across cultures and disciplines, and I was honored to contribute a voice.
