2012 Speaker Title Sequence
2012's TEDx Portland event was all about exploring Uncharted Territories, and the team at W+K Motion was tasked with creating an opening speaker title sequence and ambient motion graphics for the event's background displays. Under the guidance of the wise Dom Murphy, we focused on creating a cohesive aesthetic that would be effective even when viewed in individual frames.
Although we experimented with a variety of compositing techniques and audio elements, we ultimately decided to create a unified look for the titles. The other composites were used as beautiful backdrops for the opening seating and wrap-up party, adding a touch of elegance to an already extraordinary event. It was a challenging but rewarding project, and we were thrilled to be a part of such a special occasion.
