2011 Speaker Title Sequence
As the team at W+K Motion, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the talented Steven Denekis and Derek Kim on the 2011 TEDx speaker title sequence. They had already created an inspiring package for the show, and it was our task to bring their vision to life through print, online packaging, and an opening title sequence.
Given the freedom to explore and try new ideas, we began by incorporating the show's distinctive vertically split typeface into our designs. This allowed us to play with tight close-ups, mid-level shots, and various compositions, resulting in a striking Bauhaus-inspired aesthetic. Working closely with Steven and Derek, we were able to craft a package that truly captured the spirit of the TEDx brand and set the stage for an inspiring and thought-provoking event.
